Glutathione Goddess Secrets - Lesson 1

Glutathione Goddess Secrets Beauty Lightworker

Finally, the secret is out on how one little antioxidant can be the most powerful factor to ageless beauty. Glutathione consists of three amino acids, cysteine, glutamate, and glycine the building blocks that form 75% of the body. Glutathione is the queen of beauty building.

Glutathione Fundamental Lesson 1

Glutathione the goddess of antioxidants performs a vital role in defending the body from free radicals. She protects, prevents and limits the body from the harm of foreign enemies. By boosting antioxidants you boost your beauty and health.

Antioxidants are also known as free radical scavengers. They reduce the formation and the accumulation of enemies of the skin cells (free radicals) they do this by neutralizing them. The way antioxidants do this is by donating an electron to the free radical before it can oxidize. This stabilizes the free radical and prevents it from becoming toxic to other cells and causing its death.

Free radicals are created from the foods we eat and drink, medicines, pollution and toxins in our environment. Free radicals are molecules that become highly reactive because they contain unpaired electrons. Free radicals oxidize cells and cause damage to the DNA, proteins and cell membrane.

The oxidation damage in the skin cells means that it loses its ability to function normally. After a while, the accumulation of damage created by oxidation causes disease and cell death. Cells that are oxidized start to age, become dehydrated, wrinkle, lose collagen and skin elasticity.

As we age glutathione levels in our body become depleted and the skin renewal process slows down. When skin cells are not renewed by the body quick enough, we see evidence of dull and lifeless skin. Dead skin cells affected by free radicals accumulate on the surface of your skin. Antioxidants such as glutathione stop damage to healthy skin cells and enable skin renewal to replace the cells that are lost.

This inner to outer beauty approach is what creates a radiant glow, hydration, reduction of inflammation in your skin. Skin ageing slows down when nutrients are pumped into the skin. Fine lines and wrinkles appear softer and more hydrated. Skin tone becomes more even and clear through the reduction of pigmentation and scarring.  Glutathione is a warrior at fighting a range of skin conditions from dull skin, dry skin, scarring, acne and ageing skin.

Antioxidants such as glutathione can recycle and boost the effectiveness of other antioxidants such as Vitamin C, Alpha-lipoic acid, Vitamin E, and CoQ10. This fact alone is why glutathione is considered the queen of antioxidants.

Beauty is balanced via self care resulting in you looking better and feeling healthier. We can consider free radicals our enemies to beauty and look for ways we can destroy and avoid them at all costs. Antioxidants are the secret to beauty and the goddesses we need at our side.

1. Increase Fruit Consumption

There are many natural ways we can increase antioxidants in our body. Primarily our diet plays a fundamental role in increasing the level of antioxidants required for optimal health. Eating fresh fruit is an excellent choice when it comes to boosting antioxidants in your body.

2. Increase Vegetables

Nutritional food choices such as fresh vegetables contain rich sources of vitamin C, fibre and antioxidants. Low in calories and abundant in antioxidants make them a no brainer.

     3. Increase Herbs

Green herbs such as parsley, basil, dill, chives and other herbs not only provide flavour for our food but help to boost antioxidants we eat.

      4. Increase Spices

By using a variety of spices such as ginger, garlic, turmeric, cinnamon, oregano, we are helping our body maximise levels and simultaneously exciting our taste buds.

      5. Increase Supplements

Sometimes we often opt for quick meal solutions to fit around our work schedules. A quick solution to boost our levels of antioxidants can be to include supplements in our diet. Add vitamins A, C, E, and minerals such as copper, zinc and selenium.

      6. Increase Glutathione

Antioxidants added in skincare products that offer benefits such as calming the skin, firming the skin and reducing the appearance of wrinkles and scars. Applying creams and lotions on your skin will help to fight accelerated ageing, dryness and repair sun-damaged skin. Choosing products with more than one antioxidant will boost its effectiveness.

      1. Reduce Pollution Exposure

Free radicals are generated in the body as we become exposed to toxins and pollution. The air we breathe, the water we drink, oceans and land become polluted by particles and gasses created by industry, factories, vehicles, rubbish and other substances. The land cleared of forests, trees that provide the oxygen required for life.

      2. Reduce Chemical Contact

Industrial chemicals, paints, pesticides, cleaning detergents all add to creating a hazardous environment of stress for the body.

      3. Reduce UV radiation

To add to this our exposure to UV radiation from sun and electronic devices such as X-rays, mobile phone, microwaves, computers, radio carry invisible electromagnetic radiation adding to the soup of free radicals our body has to combat. EMF protection devices and products are now available to protect from the harmful effects.

      4. Reduce Junk Food

Eating junk food and drinking soft drinks with no nutritional value adds even more work and stress in your body.

      5. Reduce Medicine and Drugs

Instead of opting for medicine and drugs as an easy solution for our ailments, we must take back our power as individuals and make choices that reduce this exposure. Prevention is the cure. Science and pharmaceutical companies have lots to lose if people start to see the truth.

      6. Make Better Lifestyle Choices

Lifestyle choices like alcohol and cigarettes encouraged by culture have little to do with socializing and more to do with keeping humanity dependant and weak. More research on prevention rather than a cure would go a long way into slowly changing habits and culture. Make better choices for your wellbeing and don't rely on big corporations to do the right thing by you. Take personal responsibility for yourself, your health and your beauty. The first step to changing our culture is to change ourselves. Reduce the free radical exposure one day at a time.

Glutathione is a powerful antioxidant that helps boost the effectiveness of other antioxidants. It is the source and fountain of youth. Antioxidants are the body’s weapon against free radicals. A built-in beauty mechanism that has been tampered with by toxins and increasing environmental stress every single day. But there are steps we can take towards reducing free radicals and increasing antioxidants in our body. We need to know how to listen to our body and take action. It can be difficult to face the fact we have to clean up our lifestyle habits and take care of our body. However, there is still hope if we take it one day at a time.
